Disney officially released a plethora of announcements for attractions and experiences coming to the parks around the globe.
The first announcement came about the new Star Wars immersive hotel coming to the 'edge' of Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will be a new, first-of-its-kind vacation experience where guests will check in for a two-night adventure aboard a glamorous starship. Once onboard, guests will interact with characters and become active participants in stories that unfold around them on their galactic journey. This is coming to the Walt Disney World Resort.
Notice the press release mentioned "two-night adventure?" This ties with recent rumors of the hotel requiring at least a two-night stay (at over $2,500 a person)!
Disney also released new concept art for the Epcot overhaul:
Also coming to Epcot is a new attraction called "Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana." This will replace the Fountain of Nations.....in Future World??????
The reinvention of Epcot will include Journey of Water, Inspired by “Moana.” This first-ever attraction based on the Walt Disney Animation Studios hit film, “Moana,” will let guests interact with magical, living water in a beautiful and inspiring setting.
Guest visiting Epcot starting in October would be able to see all the plans for the park in the Odyssey Events Pavilion.
Over on the West Coast and in Disneyland Paris, Disney officially announced the name of the Super Hero themed lands, "Avengers Campus."
At Disney California Adventure and Disneyland Paris, we’ve already shared updates that we’re building immersive Super Hero themed lands. Today, we’re thrilled to announce these fantastic lands will be called Avengers Campus.
When guests visit Avengers Campus, they will become part of an interconnected, global story that spans from California to Paris to Hong Kong with the Avengers recruiting new extraordinary people to join them.
